Wharfedale Angling Classics
 |
A lifetime's passion for fly fishing and fly tying turned into a family company when owner Steve Bielby opend Wharfedale Angling Classics in 2000; supplying only the finest quality fly-tying materials and accessories by mail order.
With an ever increasing demand for top quality and specialist fly tying materials, an ever increasing customer base, it soon became apparent that a local retail shop to serve the fly-tying community was greatly needed.
In January 2006 the first shop unit was opened in the Kirkgate Arcade in Otley, followed a few months later by the opening of a second shop unit allowing the business to expand into fly fishing equipment. A further expansion to the business took place when the third shop unit opened in November 2009, allowing country clothing and footwear to be stocked.
Wharfedale Angling Classics has built a reputation for sellingonly high-quality items and offering a first class service and friendly advice to its many loyal and new customers. Advice is always freely available to our customers on all aspects of fly-fishing and because we have tried and tested the products we sell, strong recommendations are made as to which products will be best for you. We do not sell anything that we wouldn't use ourselves. New and innovative quality items are always being sought to enhance our already vast range of tackle and fly tying materials - keep checking our website for updates.
